119. Deputy Catherine Byrne  asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of medical detox beds available for rehabilitating drug addicts; the location of these beds; the cost of each bed; the waiting time to access one of these beds; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

120. Deputy Catherine Byrne asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of beds available for drug detox in community based residential detox units; the location of these beds; the cost of each bed; the number of persons on a waiting list for admission to this service; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
 
Minister for Health and Children (Deputy Mary Harney): As the Deputy’s question relates to a service matter it has been referred to the HSE for direct reply.
