Intervention: A guideline to introduce clinicians to the use of the community reinforcement approach (CRA) with drug and alcohol users. It explains the principles underlying CRA, then outlines key procedures and provides a number of treatment strategies.

Setting: Community, outpatient and inpatient settings.

Duration: One-hour sessions if run individually. If offered in group format, 1.5 sessions.
