A Cork Simon Youth Homeless Drugs Prevention Project (YHDPP) is a key resource for young adults who are at risk of becoming, or who have already become, homeless. Almost one fifth of people using Cork Simon services in 2008 were in the 18 to 26 year old age group3. The YHDPP works with this age group - young people that have little or no direction in their lives, have poor relations with their families and have little experience to call on.
